When I was 15 to 18, i worked at a well-known healthy burger joint (you connect the dots). When i first began, they told me it was a requirement i do a 2 year hospitality certificate and because of this, i will be paid less than the standard rate for that whole period. I asked to not do the certificate and just get paid normally, they said it was a requirement to work there? Such a scam!
