Got a job at a Brisbane CBD cafe, asked to do a one week trial (3x 4 hour shifts) UNPAID. I was pretty desperate for a job so I ignored that, got the job and began getting paid shifts after that. However, after 4 weeks I’d be paid (a shit amount) but hadn’t gotten any pay slips. I asked the owner and he said I don’t need them. Long story short, after asking for my pay slips for ages, I never got them. I quit a few weeks later and still to this day I never received a pay slip. lol. I was probs being under paid
