I worked at a [popular chain cafe]. stockists were always coming in and complaining their invoices weren’t being payed. Owners constantly lied and told them they were and put us into awkward positions telling us to relay this info to them.

Rocked up to work one day to the the shop being evicted by the owner of the building as they hadn’t paid rent. Owners weren’t there, we were confused and had to pack up shop and close. The shop never reopened and I was unpaid for 2 weeks of work and jobless after moving across the country, in my first rental out of home.
